The Website Design Assignment
We were tasked, via our parent company Candu Creative LLC, with establishing an informative, easy to navigate, and mobile-friendly website. This site would act as the primary point-of-contact in all marketing efforts for generating brand awareness and increasing registration for the event.
To date, the Glass City Marathon website accounts for over 75% of the 5,000 to 9,000+ registrations annually, and has served millions of visitors. It is hosted locally and has maintained a 99.9% uptime, with no outages during peak traffic periods.
For more than a decade, the website has continued to evolve to integrate advanced information architecture, online usability tools via RunSignup, CRMs, Google and other modern platforms, as well as live race day video and social media streaming content.
